Workshops
Neon Dance aims to inspire, engage and educate through dance. Neon Dance workshops can consist of a contemporary based technique class, repertoire from the company’s latest production and creative sessions inspired by the work. Workshops can range from 2 hours to a whole day and we cater for all ages and abilities. Past workshops include working with Rambert Dance School, Sadler’s Wells, Bath Spa University and University of East London.
Residencies and Intensives
Neon Dance specialise in week-long dance, film and music residencies, which include a daily contemporary based technique class followed by the creation of a new work. Participants are given creative tools and tasks as well as set choreography throughout the week. The content generated is then shaped into an original dance work for the stage (and/or) screen. Past residencies and intensives include working with The Place Centre for Advanced Training programme, Saitama Arts Theater (Japan) and Trinity Laban Dance and Music Conservatoire.
