Vanessa is a dance practitioner trained in a range of forms including African-contemporary dance. She has performed with TEDx, UEFA Champions League, Bloomberg New Contemporaries at ICA and Cloud Dance Festival. She champions a community-oriented approach to dance; leading dance in an accessible and inclusive way that encourages creativity and expression with the attitude that everything is possible. Vanessa has an innate practical knowledge of dance, strengthened through rigorous training - and an in-depth understanding of anatomy, gained whilst working towards a Laban Community Dance Practitioner qualification and through self-directed training. Vanessa manages Khyal Arts, a non-profit arts organisation that brings about cultural cohesion and social innovation by way of a vibrant programme of cultural activity. Khyalarts.org.uk
