Severine (she / her) is a performance artist, choreographer and movement teacher originally from South Africa, now based in Bristol. Severine has a strong background in classical and contemporary dance, acting for film and experimental theatre; having graduated from The Cape Academy of Performing Arts (CAPA) and studied further at ACT Cape Town. Working as a dancer, actor and performer in mixed media art forms fusing dance, theatre, film and immersive platforms. Alongside performing, She teaches various dance styles and choreographs for The University of Bristol. Severine is a workshop facilitator and mentor in arts-based practice across the UK, supporting young people and adults with differing abilities, those in challenging circumstances and coming from diverse backgrounds.
